G-Man
Just look at history and compare the two, the similarities aren't hard to miss Way different, and quotes out of context are meaningless.. like Ben Franklin wanting the wild turkey as the national bird . .. no where near the truth.. he hated the idea of a scavenger like the bald eagle so much he said if your going to do that may as well make the turkey the national bird as its a good mother and defends and protects it's young.. he wanted a falcon (a true hunter) but most were against it as falcons were used extensively in European countries and they wanted to distance us from europe.
G-Man
The real question is how you can support any one who's been in politics for decades and has ecomplished nothing except increasing her/ his networth and lying. Making one of them p re side t will surly let them accomplish their hair brained ideas thay have been voted down for decades...

If we are willing to elect Hilary Clinton President then a scavenger as the national bird would be appropriate. I like the bald eagle as our national bird. I didn't realize they were scavengers. I've seen them pull fish from the Hudson and even once seen them try to take a Canadian Goose.
diplomat019
The real question is how you can support any one who's been in politics for decades X2. But lets not forget how many of us voted for GW Bush. The Bush dynasty has been in power for decades. Longer than the Clinton dynasty. Rattler
That's only because we only get to choose between two viable candidates. Therefore we hold our noses and pick the one who will be the lesser threat to out liberty and our future.
