Question: Is a crossbow and a bolt defined in the new law?

Answer: Yes. The crossbow must have a stock with a working safety, and a minimum limb of 17 inches. It must have a minimum peak draw weight of 100 pounds, and a maximum peak draw weight of 200 pounds. The overall length (butt of stock to front of the limbs) must be at least 24 inches. A bolt (the term used for the "arrow" shot from a crossbow) must be at least 14 inches long (excluding the point).

Is the minimum limb dimension the overall length or is it axle to axle . The PSE TAC 15 has an A-A of 16.75" ......

More of a Technically Bill . If the regulation means A to A then the Tac 15 wouldn't be legal . But .....if it's overall length is outside to outside , it would be okay . Gotta find out before dropping $1600 on one .

Since limb is singular I'd say 34" from tip to tip is the minimum.

Theres an easy answer. You have to measure the limbs. Not overall width, which would include the cams.

Yeah , I was thinking of the overall width . The way many of the bows are made , they could have 18" limbs and be less than 17" wide due to the curvature , etc ..

tac would not be illlegal...kind of like pistol legnth..who cuts down an encore barrel to be legal (factory barrels are a quarter in to long) and like the model 12 shotgun illegal without a plug. My guess people will be using them anyway.
