You're issued a potato in the spring, tonight we all dump out our pots and count up/weigh what we grew. When you're old like me you'll enjoy stuff like this lol! By the way I took home the hardware!imageproxy.php?img=%3C___base_url___%3E%2Fapplications%2Fcore%2Finterface%2Fimageproxy%2Fimageproxy.php%3Fimg%3D%253C___base_url___%253E%252Fapplications%252Fcore%252Finterface%252Fimageproxy%252Fimageproxy.php%253Fimg%253Dhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fuploads.tapatalk-cdn.com%25252F20160910%25252Fd95bf7d79b1c6cf603e75d60f6049434.jpg%2526key%253D3b0b1f2cb54aa26628b8e5e5cbecebb543101d4644ed0ca46b12ff94ad59ccae%26key%3Df7726afed30536aec60d63b0a0871b90e3d3883ebe7ade0177a2b06270d63d30&key=b1d2b0b10f7df74a1c0b94695b7ba851e2f7e76757716d43e1db91aded28efb5

The vegetable garden is done for the year. It's very challenging growing a garden in the middle of the woods as it's the only area that gets a decent amount of sunlight. In the fall , I lay down black plastic as a weed barrier to save time and my back in the spring. When I remove the black plastic in the spring , the snakes come slithering out. Gotta be on my toes for that. Now to just close the pool.

I have just one watermelon left growing on the vine...Oh my..... were they good..I have been checking the muskmelon daily and finally picked one the other day...I cut it this morning...THE BEST musk melon I have ever tasted and huge, 4 1/2 pounds of sweetness and wonderful flavor. I have 21 more of them at various stages of ripeness in the field.....I found a pill bottle in the cabinet this spring with seed in it...Mr B remembered me saving the seed 2-3 years ago...I said why not and planted it in the pumpkin/food plot garden...saving seed from these too...
