LOL taking no prisoners..

So I've mentioned the "activity" across the street...cars..trucks 4 wheelers...Well just now I hear a 4 wheeler and before I can get to the end of drive he takes off... I hit the crest of the hill and hes stopping all the way down... Well he was out front for a while  and I decide nipping this in the bud was needed...I hop in the car..turn at intersection wrong... I then turn  around ...stop a walker and ask if the saw him..yep so I catch him on the next road over... roll down window ..smile  Hi, so you just stopped at my place up on the hill can I help you with something?...His face about fell off...I was ahhh ahhh just looking...  For anything in particular?... ahhh the foliage.....he's on a camo 4 wheeler wearing camo.

Long and short of it .....I was very nice ,big smile and explained the problems we all have, especially during hunting season. I though perhaps he was out there so long taking down my cell number from the posted sign and needed to contact me...so here I am... ....He apologized and I said absolutely no reason to apologize, I was just making sure everything was OK and told him to enjoy the rest of his fall.

This did 2 things...nipped any real problem in the bud, if he was less than upfront and  The entire town will know I am on patrol...lol

Was he actually on the property or did you see them on the property? I apologize if you mentioned it in another topic.

This guy was just driving buy stopping and looking..So before you or anyone goes there,yes he has the right to stop on the road. The others were backing up out of our drive when I saw them and last year we had 4 wheeler lights caught across the cam 2 times.

That said, the property and some neighboring properties are all lined by pine trees...not a whole lot of "foliage" to view and as I said to him, very nicely, I thought perhaps he was out front stopped so long  getting my cell number off the sign, so I was inquiring as to if he needed something...When living out in now-where-land being  on top of any situation is just smart. We both parted with smiles on our faces and a friendly good day...but objectives were met.

Ya I thought you'd take it that way...wasn't to you but, as some can attest..I've taken heat about watching over my place and some of the things that happen here. Though others have had worse problems than I with out the same reactions ..so that wasn't directed at you per say...Not defensive...just proactive to what I have learned to expect...
