10-18-16 cam check

Took a little walk to check cams (3) and tote the turkey gun. Kicked up 2 does , 2 bucks and then a big boy. All close. Wind in my favor and leaves on ground made for quiet walk. Decent amount of daytime pics again . Brushed in our ground blind a bit. Found new scrape last time out on way into woods. Snipped licking branch , bagged and zip tied to mock by our blind. Notice pics on 11th of doe and decent buck. Day after youth hunt during legal shooting. SOB ! Been catching quite a few coon , fox and turkeys on cams

for bucks my guesses are (1st) 1.5-2.5, (2nd) 1.5, (3rd) 2.5, and (last) 3.5-4.5 years old.  better guessing requires closer better images, bucks being completely in the frame, and multiple pictures of same deer.  sometimes day photos help too as IR flash washes out any appearance of muscle definition/mass.

leaning toward 4.5 for the last one.  i don't think the rear end is that under developed compared to the front and the neck hits pretty flush with into the brisket/chest.

I'll guess off the one picture 3.5 yr old at the least, but it's tough aging when they're mid stride walking and neck turned that. Nice buck I like him. Also like the Cabela's camera having good luck with mine. Good luck if he's a deer you're targeting.
