So much for draining the swamp

Recommended Posts

What did your newly elected president do, drain the swamp and keep the dregs he found at the bottom?  This includes his a-hole buddy Ruddy who made a career out of 9/11 when all he actually did that day was hide in a bunker and Newt, another right wing fool kept on life support all these years thanks to Fox News. And lets no forget Steve Bannon, this will satisfy those here love for fictitious news.

In my opinion, if it wasn't for Newt...The Clinton Presidency would have been an utter failure. As much as I despised Bill Clinton, he and Newt did accomplish a few things I was happy about. Like welfare reform. Most of which our current president has reversed. I am not sure how you could not like Rudy. NYC mayor on 9/11, imposed stop and frisk making NYC safer with less crime/shootings than in years. Which of course has all since been overturned making it more dangerous again. Very happy both those guys will be involved...

Which was thankfully found to be unconstitutional and has been stopped

I understand it was stopped for being unconstitutional. I have to look up why exactly it was at some point. Constitution provides for unlawful search and seizure. Was it because of racial profiling? If you are pulled over a cop can frisk you so I never really understood why they can't if you are walking down the street and look suspicious (aka a reason to stop you) I don't know what the cause was that the deemed it unconstitutional. If you know it will save me from looking it up...

Being that obama is more or less consider the worst president in US history . Anything  trump does will be a Improvement .

If he does only one thing  appoint a Supreme Court judge that will  withhold the second amendent and Constitution.

He already did his job anything else is just icing on the cake as obama set the bar so low .

"Stop and frisk is when police temporarily detain somebody and pat down their outer clothing when there are specific articulable facts leading a reasonable police officer to believe a person is armed and dangerous. ... A "frisk" by definition is a type of search that requires a lawful stop."

The underlying reason for the stop and frisk to be constitutionally legal is that there must be ARTICULABLE FACT, NOT simply because one looks suspicious or local of the individual at the given time....

Example - noticeable bulge in waistband that the person covers or cradles with his hand about the size and general shape of a handgun....this would be grounds for a fully legal stop and frisk....
