editing a post?

how do i edit a post i made ? there is an edit post on some but not all lately none.i have a personal thing with words and spelling i like to keep in check.

Are you sure you were logged in ? Edit button wouldn't show up if not and it only stays for a limited amount of time. 

Still haven't figured out how to edit thru Tapatalk though

thanks i'm using a laptop it seems if  it's not a post i started i can't edit it if i reply to a topic i can't edit it

The edit function times out, not sure if that's the issue you're having .

You can't edit a post after a certain amount of time has passed.

And it is a relatively short time frame....believe me I know...lol
