Wool shirt jac

Today's cold temperatures got me thinking it might be time to buy a wool shirt and retire the hoodie under my coat for when then temperature is above 40 degrees. I can't really afford a Johnson Mills so I was wondering what you all wear if you wear wool?

I have 2 sets ones beagle and one is silent predator.

Cheap wool is usually recycled wool and isn't much better than cotton.
