NonTypical
So this buck showed up this morning during the snow. It's the first time that I've seen him. At first I thought he was injured and had a lopsided rack with a spike on his left side. But the more I look at it, it looks like the spike is coming out of the middle of his forehead and maybe he shed his left antler already. What do you guys think? Lawdwaz
I don't know what to say about that buck other than to me, he looks like an old buck. Just a hunch.........

Just a hunch......... I agree. Does anyone disagree that the spike on his head is a third antler? I've seen pics of bucks having a third beam, but usually they originate right next to one of the other 2 bases.
grampy
He is definitely a maure buck. And you can clearly see the pedicil where he dropped one side of his rack. And the spike growing in the center between the main beams. A truly unique buck!
