max3
Very nice ! What do you think the reason is for ohio's success with deer ? Or has it always been good there just never talked about ? Congratulations !
SplitG2
Thanks guys. Very nice ! What do you think the reason is for ohio's success with deer ? Or has it always been good there just never talked about ? Congratulations ! Ohio was a sleeper state years ago but not anymore. NR tags are only $150. The season is very long but it's a one buck state and a short shotgun season and I think both key. They also have quality habitat.
G-Man
short shotgun season a lot less hunters and need written permission to hunt private property even if not posted.
max3
Less hunters? Probably not for long because all I have been hearing lately is how good ohio is. Interesting though as we are only a state away.uote author=G-Man link=topic=3903.msg48995#msg48995 date=1299735853] short shotgun season a lot less hunters and need written permission to hunt private property even if not posted. SplitG2
short shotgun season a lot less hunters and need written permission to hunt private property even if not posted. yep, we all needed to have on our person a card signed by landower giving permission to hunt. On a different note....landowners and family that lives on land doesn't need to pay for a hunting license, it's free!
