President Trump’s supporters blasted him on social media

We have become quite the lazy people with the internet haven't we? It seems that we spend our time scanning the internet to find thoughts and ideas from insignificant sources that we can repeat as our own. We no longer form and express opinions of our own, but are content to simply become gatherers of the opinions of others. This particular section of huntingny.com has almost turned completely into that sort of a mindless activity, hasn't it? There seems to be some kind of satisfaction achieved by those that can use the internet to speak for them, never having to express an original thought of our own. It is interesting to watch our culture change, but also very boring and meaningless. It is also a bit scary how easily some are led by the opinions of others. We are becoming a "cut-and-paste" society, at least some portion of it is.

I thought it was interesting that one of president trumps gripes against Obama was that he refused to use the word radical Islam. And here he was at a speech and didn't say it either. Many of his supporters called him out on this exact flip-flop. Why was Obama given so much grief about not using radical Islam while President Trump had the opportunity to use it and passed?

You might want to focus more on what President Trump did say during that speech rather than on what he didn't say. It was perfectly clear who he was talking about when he said repeatedly to his audience, "Drive them out...".

It's not hard to cherry-pick a handful of Trump 'supporters' who will disagree with his wording during that speech, or any other speech for that matter, but the message was loud and clear to the adults in that room. ...the extremists within your religion are screwing up your countries, your people, and the entire world, and it's up to YOU to stop that...

What Obama said for 8 years is, "There's no problem." That's the big difference.

Agree.   But.....   Obama "a lot of flack for not using that specific term. No I'm not in an Obama supporter i'm not really a Trump supporter or but I do see Trump supporters not following the same guidelines.

I disagree with the comment about Obama. The man was at war for eight consecutive years of his presidency bombing Muslim nations.

That was what Obama chose to do. It was his chosen course of action, or more likely his disinterested course of action, as he never really cared about individual suffering so long as the ideology of collectivism was moved forward. First and foremost on his agenda was bringing the U.S. down to the level of misery suffered by the poorest of the world's nations.

President Trump doesn't think about how to divide up the small pie of success. He wants everyone to make their own pie. He wants other countries to help themselves toward that goal.

No matter which way you slice it we were in those countries bombing the supposed bad guys.   And those bag guys were Muslims. Not Christians. Not juice. Not Buddhists. So to hear that Obama was this Muslim sympathizer just doesn't add up to me. Between him and bush be single-handedly tore apart the Middle East. But that's a whole other topic.

In my own opinion I think the best way to let countries help themseves is for us to leave them alone.  We don't need to play everybody's daddy. But unfortunately I think were so intertwined with other countries governments when we prop up new regime's and take down old ones we don't like it will be very hard for us to just walk away.
