growalot
A while ago I did a spring prediction...as I sat here freezing I thought about it...mid 40's to night and tomorrow night low 40 forties. Just 62 in the sun here now. I looked it up....So far on track... Quote Elite NY Hunter Members 6370 16955 posts Posted March 17, 2015 · Report post So last year I made them for the year...Dang if I can find them...So I'll do it again for this year and write the thread title down...lol but would like to see yours as well. I'm predicting a cool wet spring that lasts into June ...then a moderate summer with out too many above 90 degree days for our area and not as wet as last year. I'm hoping for the winds to occur during the summer and ease by fall.... I'm thinking a late first frost well into Oct and little rain...lower amounts of snow for winter but I fear another year of increased sub zero temps. Farmers may have a late spring planting and later corn harvest this year....There you have it, for what it's worth...which can't be much worse than what the "professionals " have been able to do.... If the posts end up with strange words in odd places...My Kindle has a mind of it's own and literary ambitions not of my own....lol

Pygmy
Hoping for warmer, drier weather the next three weeks..Critical for the turkey hatch... Weather up until now did not mean squat..Average hatch date in NY is around June 13th...Wet, cold weather then is deadly on poults..
