Cemetery in Williamsville had a rash of those impaling deaths and people were going crazy.  Somebody designed a "C" shaped guard to go OVER the top of the point and it was supposedly effective.  A group of people were raising funds to have the entire perimeter of the grounds all tricked out with the guards.  

I never heard anymore about it and the last I looked, only a portion of the fencing was done.

Tough way to go for such great creatures.........
