What is this?

In case you don't see it. There is some sort of growth on the back right leg of the deer on the left. Any idea what this could be?

Could be a few things and probably from an injury. I had a doe yrs ago who had almost a basketball size one on her neck and front shoulder. I even though about trying to Lance it with an arrow.

That was a buck whose nuts dropped a bit too far. When that thing grunts it's like an earthquake!
