eagle rider
Anyone ever try using a red dot site on a bow? The crossbow models with the multi dots. Just curious. https://www.xofan.com/compound-bow-red-dot-sight/ Edited November 12, 2017 by eagle rider

Jeremy K
Is it just set for one distance ?
Steve D
Works fine for me but am considering going back to a one pin site if I can find one I like. The primary draw back on these is you have to remember to turn it on before making the shot. The are also somewhat of a challenge to sight in because they are mounted sideways making the right & left adj. your elevation and your up & down is used to adjust your right & left.

Yes..I sight in at 25 yds. and raise or lower accordingly just like I would with a single pin sight. More than on pin is to much for me. My Mathews is a pretty flat shooting bow and the hold over or under is so slight it doesn't warrant having extra pins. But then again I am not trying to make 40 or 50 yd+ shots. I seldom practice beyond 35 yds. and have never made or wanted to make a hunting shot that far. Just my preference.
