What is up with the cost....

of teeth cleaning? I was in the chair a half hour, lots of that us talking,and 72.00 later...No seeing dentist ,x-rays, or anything else...tarter, floss, polish and out... Now I have it done ever 6 mos., but really never noticed price......It just sorta shocked me today...Holy Hanna Glad Mr B got insurance for himself...I can't imagine what his appointments cost...

 I wouldn't mind if I thought the hygienist received the better part of that...because having a good hygienist is more important to me then the actual Dentist...him I see for maybe 5 mins a year. 

What kind of prices are you guys seeing? I'll assume high due to location but confirmation would make the 72.00 go done better...lol

I find myself in sticker shock more and more these days....

Paid $75 not too long ago. Bonus was I didn’t get the “ you need to floss better “

I pay $ 80,but the poor hygenist has to work for it.

Went today.. gotta think $20 goes to the lady, $20 to the doctor, the rest covers overhead.. They'll bill my insurance $400 but get paid $175 for cleaning and xrays

OK..I feel better..And. I get you have great teeth...seeing my family is filled with denture wearers, my sister has had multiple  root canals. ..I'm  blessed...but I do not  drink soda. ..

Not to worry my daughter is getting braces so I’ll help keep them in business.
