Let's face it, there will probably come a day when the choice will be made for me because of age....lol. It's not a big deal. I don't do marathons anymore either. The fact is there likely will come a day when I can't handle the walking to do either one. If the choice is driven by some bureaucrat in government then I guess I will just have to be a little more sneaky and continue to be a two-season hunter and not yield to making either choice. nybuckboy Posted June 21, 2018 Author Share Posted June 21, 2018 To me,a rifle sighted in at an inch high at 100 yds make it a small challenge to kill a deer. Like point and click really. The bow simply gives me more opportunities during the best 3 weeks of the season to pass up what I wish and try to kill a mature buck. This is what gives me the excitement I haven’t had since I was a youngin. So for me I’d use the bow all year round even when it’s cold if I had to choose.
