Two Killed At Lockport Facility

When this building opened in 1990 it was in a brand new building, my business (I sold it 3.5 years years ago)  was selected to do the post construction cleaning.  It was a good size job for us although we did almost nothing in the 100,000 sqft (at the time, bigger now) warehouse area.  The first few days there was no "racking" in the warehouse area, I looked at it as a cool place to shoot claybirds or the bow.  For about 15 years after the initial clean up we were hired to do carpet cleaning, VCT maintenance and occasionally window washing. 

Sadly early this morning two of the workers were crushed by 9,000 pounds of Corian that somehow fell on them.  Seems as though both fellows were local people.......condolences to all involved.

I saw this on the news, that’s just terrible, when it’s called right at the scene, you know it was horrible.

One guy was early 30’s probably just starting a family another guy 62 probably looking forward to retirement. Just sad all around.
