Hmm, would you look at that, the deer is still alive, not killed by the DEC immediately or dead from CWD like some people would have guessed. It's not uncommon to see deer with visible ribs, especially with thin fur coats this time of year. I saw a big doe at 12 yds while hunting the other day and I could make out the rib bones on her too.
