Problem with Raccoons

A couple of comments -

When I trapped and released ratcoons, I released them more than 20 miles away.  Didn't spray paint them, but I don't think any made it back here (would be a hard slog over some highly populated areas).  That said, I don't bother any more - I just shoot the bastards.

Skunks - I can tell ya this fer shur - if you shoot one, be prepared for The Smell.  No idea about drowning them.  Brings to mind farting in the tub... (not that I would ever do such a thing, I've just heard about it)....

I know, I'll admit to breaking a few rules sometimes. Haven't trapped one in a while though. Used to get them and bring them to the bike path a few miles away.
