European deer skull

Just recieved my 2 European deer skulls. I have a wood stove in the room I'd like to hang them. I move my 2 shoulder mounts to the opposite side of the house (2 rooms over) when were burning wood so they don't dry out. Will a European mount dry out or are the safe in the same room

My guess is they will dry to some degree. Will it be noticeable?

100% pure guess but I think they will be fine. There is only so much moisture that can be pulled out.

I have euro mounts hanging above my wood burner at the cabin and never had an issue. Just wipe dust/ soot a little more than normal. But I guess it’s how much of a neat freak you are.
