Change of seasons.

Dunno about your SOMU (significant other management unit) but GF season starts the first Friday directly after the official close of the muzzleloader season here.  Lol. Or at least i was told.  Runs until May 1 with the rut usually reaching peak around Feb 14th. 

Just a reminder - hope it's a good season.  I plan on starting the season opener at a local restaurant of the GFs choice.

She was heartbroken to hear I was washing and putting away all my hunting gear today....sure. 

Shes a good sport about it but always a running joke that GF season ends Oct 1.

It's a much tougher draw getting an additional antlerless tag than deer season too.
