Pretty urban area for a bear to show up.  Though we have just about everything else around here.  Just a bit annoying that we can't shoot any of the game.

  I guess there has been a few sighting of this guy.  They say he isn't a threat and hasn't been doing anything wrong YET.  Kinda wierd to see one right down by albany.  It is only ten minute drive to the capital from niskauna

It seems they are moving in to our area finally, there was one hit by a car in Jackson which is in southern Washington county. Not far from my house  ??? .

My younger brother is a policeman in Rockland County,He is chasing bear back to the mountains pretty regular.

Yes the population is exploding in ny . They are common in areas where they were a rare sight a few short years ago.
