Good luck with him, My Friend...Over the years I had 3 springers and loved every one of them.....My second one flushed and retrieved a limit of woodcock  ( 5 birds at that time) when he was 6 months old..One was a water retrieve... Pretty cool for a pup...

Thanks he will be out this fall my cocker is slowing down at ten but still loves the hunt. If he develops as well as she did we will be in very good shape. Dad is slowly becoming a better shot over the years too so. I swear grouse are equipped with some type of radio evasion equipment.
