I may send them in. I travel through Pa a lot for work, it would be cool to mix in a hunt or two especially in January

got them in mail today too.  - license price will go up next year to make up for this mistake......  mustve cost a lot to send all those out for nothing

I always check the list thats posted after - usually put on the elk expo site.  But i think they email and send by mail .

i am so looking forward to bow season here - cant imagine throwing in an elk tag to boot.  My weekends would suddenly all be in PA for scouting! 


Getting drawn for Elk tag is like Hitting lotto! Short 1-week season I believe. NY deer are forever, but an elk tag in PA is once in a lifetime. It would be epic if anyone on this forum won a tag

they opened up an early archery season this year in Sept - now that would be the best.  Before deer here!  then they have diffferent weeks for gun in Nov and a late season antlerless in Jan i believe - which woudl also be great .

Interesting. I didn’t know about the early. Maybe a chance at velvet bull?

If it is, he’ll kill for sure.  

Ill text him in a day or two.  Probably doing interviews with Outdoor Life, Field & Stream and GQ now.

I know @Lawdwaz applied again this year. I just did mine. My 9th try for gun bull elk (no preference in Unit) and 2nd try for archery bull elk (no preference in Unit).

Deadline is tomorrow!

I just applied for the either sex for both archery and reg season no preference on area. Hopefully get picked for a bull that would be cool
