growalot
Just copied them off the DEC site...Sept thru May it will be in my hunting pouch We know a guy that shot a deer and dragged it out to his car and a waiting DEC officer....When asked if he'd recently shot the deer he said yes...Was then told his was the only shot and 10 min past legal hours and ticketed....the officer had waited by the car 40 min. while the guy recovered ...gutted and dragged the deer out....That's dedication....lol... orion
That was the only shot he heard! That's the evidence. Wow
Doc
That was the only shot he heard! That's the evidence. Wow Lol..... Probably not a crime that has to be proven "beyond a shadow of a doubt". In fact it probably does not even have to reach the level of "proof beyond reasonable doubt". In fact, just the ECO's word is probably adequate for the local J.P.
growalot
Actually it was Conesus court ...I think..... and the JP was not amused from what we were told...but had to do the mandatory state fine regardless.....
fasteddie
The ECOs have more power than the Sheriff's deputies or the Troopers .
nyantler
Actually you don't have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.. just preponderance of the evidence... which means it's the officers word vs. the hunters... we know who usually wins there
fasteddie
"Preponderance" ------- Yeah , that's the word I meant to use !
