All of my ARs have timney and they are great.  2 are single stage and 2 are 2 stage.  But, I hear really good things about the Larue trigger and its under $100.

I take it you are pinning the mag?  I had no issue with a pinned mag, but I did recently move to featureless with the thordsen.  I still like the pistol grip better, but its a decent compromise when you are constantly loading and unloading to move from stand to stand when hunting dogs.

I had the larue mbt2 in a ar it was nice, but the timney calvin elite is a amazing trigger. Obviously way more money.

That's what I have but the guaranty of never missing has not held up!

Having a tough time with the barrel this is the one I think I’m going to go with, I really just can’t decide between the 18 or the 22 inch what are your guys thoughts

Did you consider white oak armament?    If you really plan on ringing out the 224 for long distance shooting I would go 22 otherwise 18 is more convenient.  Mine is 18.  
 

edit WOA is on backorder.   They are known to be about the best bang for the buck in AR barrels.

Are you gonna post up the total spent at the end ? I'm curious how much these end up costing . I hear people claim to have only 400 dollars in a rifle but ive never seen a barrel less then 300.

I’ll post the total spent if no one tells my wife lol. I’m guessing I’ll be around $1500 before scope more if you include the tool set I got

They do look like great barrels, the one thing I liked about criterion is you can purchase the barrel with a head spaced bolt. But I just looked at white oak and am now Seriously considering it

From everything I read, you are assured an accurate barrel.  Every thread I read about WOA raves about them.   But I am sure criterion makes a solid barrel too.  If price didn’t matter - carbon proof barrel!

So I just did a little digging and the WOA 224 barrels are heavy as hell that sucks I was really happy with what I was reading
