October Apples

300 pictures taken in 2 weeks on a cluster of 3 apple trees, where now I have 2 stands, and where I missed the 6 point below on tuesday. Not crying over it though, theres bigger fish to fry as you can see :

Little 8 pointer that I hope lives through the year

6 point I shot at on tuesday, kinda glad I hit that branch, thought he was an 8 in the failing light, and didn't have much time to make my decision!

I think I'm going to make a "mock scrape" out of a does head the next time one is standing underneath my stand.

Nice pics.I notice that all these look right at the camera im pretty shure they know it's there.I have evene seen some videos were the deer look right at the camera turn around and book.Idk but good luck to everyone them still are some sweet pics.Id like to see them in the bed of a pick up truck next!!

I have a stand with a crabapple tree 20-25 yards on each side of it. The last 2 times I'm hunted the stand before dark, I've had 2 different does with fawns come out of the thicket and trot directly to the apple trees at 5pm, right on the dot. I swear they wanted to be the first ones at the apple trees to grab any apples that have fallen during the day! Like women rushing to a sale, gotta be the first ones there!! LOL

I just found a bunch of apple trees on some state land that is far back in the woods and it doesn't look like it's hunted much.There is a ton of dear sign i will be going to buy a trail cam and putting it up ill hopefully have some pics to post myself here in a few days!!

Great pictures. If you want more accurate information as to when the deer are moving in that area set your date and time stamp. That 8 pointer is a brut.

Yeah I updated it sometime around the 15th.

Also as a side note, no big boys on this camera since last wednesday. It was HOT HOT HOT before then. I did some trimming for another stand I threw in there, I'm wondering if that's spooked em. Coincidentally another guy hunting there shot a doe which we tracked through and made alot of noise in that patch for about 3 hours. So either way, spot seems spooked for the moment.
