A buddy of mine bought a couple of wild pigs from some guy around Norwich. I dont know if he is talking out of his butt or not... But is it legal to sell wild pigs in NY with the big scare we are having with them running loose?

Yep, gotta have the DEC permit to buy them. Im pretty sure there is a process to getting the permit which includes you needing to have an enclosure for them. It would probably be similar to the Domestic Game Animal Breeder License found here....

are they really wild pigs? Russians? I see some of these shows from down south and alot of them look like Farmer Joe's pigs that got out.

I dont know what kind they are. Just know that my buddy says he baught a few from the guy. ones black and white. and ones all tan, and ones black with white spots around his eyes and legs
