Finially had enough...

Well after watching 3-4 different roadhunters driving around the roads by my house and my neighbor actually watching them kill a deer.I tried to get a plate numbers but was unsucessful as they have mud and cardboard over the plate and drive away like a bat out of hell....Finially i decided to contact the dec I did this via a form on the internet and it was very easy and i was exceedingly pleased with the fast response. Simple descriptions of the trucks and cars along with a few other neighbors deciding to file complaints seem to have worked so far as there are now sherffs and troopers as well as dec vehicals driving around the area. I really wish they would of put out a decoy... maybe they will later.. Just happy to see the system working..

It never cease's to amaze me how low some criminals are, cardboard over plates is something. WOW

Yep they are out in force....last night I watched a truck take 20 min. to drive a 1/4 mile ....only place to go off that road was on to our road and and past our place.......going at a snails pace ...but not spotting....I know at least one guy around hear that has night vision goggles...any ways I turned on the porch light and stepped out as he passed the drive.....road his breaks the entire length of our road frontage then took off...dirt bags

Happens here all the time, then they shoot the decoy, lol. Last year, my gf's uncle saw a guy running across the corn field to retrieve a "coyote". The when approached, and dec being called, he dragged back the button buck in an attempted of good faith. Next morning, the uncle had a hunch, since there were 2 shots, and took a walk and found the 8 point they took from the road. the button retrieval was a cover for the other buck so they wouldnt get caught. Friggin jerks. This year however, no deer were takin from the road so far. I guess after 20 years of calling dec, and decoy placement, they are starting to go elsewhere.
