Well i saw eyes for a split second and that was it fer tonite..bit windy..that doesnt help.

Pat how do you make your set up on yotes and do you hunt alone?...windy and pouring here...can't wait to hit the blinds...after X-mas

Mornin,...last nights wind was cause enough to have me just walk and look a bit, so the setup wasnt needed..but on calmer nights i like to set up lookin down wind, cause they circle behind, to smell what theyre after..give that 15 min or so, then move if that peoduces nothing

I saw a good amount of fox so far durring deer season, but i really want to call in a yote!

Saw a few fox myself this year.I am gonna try to hunt with a caller and see what happens.Have some time off next week..

Never tried it at night but I think I'm gonna get a couple roadkills and sit over em at night. Did pretty good with the calls last year. Did real good with my Running Walker Hounds. Definately the most productive way to nail some yotes. Does just a regular spotlight work at night or should I get a red light or something? Thnks and good luck!!

Sorry I forgot this let local police and dec know about where your going hunting it saves alot of hassle ....if hunting at night...

Lol I don't notify anyone I'm out unless the landowner requests it. If DEC or the cops are waiting at your car, there's no hassle as long as you are legal.

As far as lights go, the blueish LED spots work good with no filter, or you can use red or green. Red really gets a good eye shine. Calling at night or baiting are good options.

I always leave a note on my dash with a phone number if anything, so far no issues.....no need to notify IMO
