13BVET
You've got to check these out. They are certainly unique, and obviously devastating! Sportsmans Guide is apparently starting to carry them. They punch some holes, that's for sure! Check them out. www.ddupleks.lv

erussell
I dont know if i would use them on deer or not, but the 410 self defense ammo looks awesome.

They're not expensive at all. They say they fly pretty well out of smoothbores, which to be honest, baffles me as to how. sportsmansguide.com has some, and they seem to be cheaply priced. growalot
Well I'd hate to see what one of those fragments would do to my grinder...or God for bid someones mouth...then...Oh please jump on this observation...lol....a person accidentally shot...even in the arm with one....no thank you...I'm glad the archery seasons been expanded...now if they'd just allow us to use our reg season tag then as well.... Apparently, there are two different options on these slugs. The Hexolit's, in my opinion, are good for yotes, but not something I'd use on deer. The Monolit's, on the other hand, are designed not to do a lot of damage to meat. Those, I'd be interested in trying. It's unusual that these are designed for smoothbores. Dinsdale
There's some more Russian designs coming our way....I would expect after SHOT. One slug has what looks like a cross design on its head.....the importer is working with a guy who posts on another forum I'm on.....I'll look for a link. There are also 2 Greek companies looking to market here. One makes a cnc turned brass slug, not sure of the other. Most have a Brenneke inspired design where the part of the wad/sabot shears off and part stays on the rear until impact. Those designs stabilize well in smooth bores, some countries don't allow access to rifled shotgun barrels; I know Greece is smoothbore shotgun only. bkln
Made in Latvia that's way they so cheap, hmm I guess there is at least one reason to try them out :-)
erussell
Probably made out of Latvian, cold war, melted down depleated uranium sabot Tank rounds. They'll burn right through a hog but you will have to carry them in a special lead case or they will give you cancer.
