loworange88
Today specifically...I'm thinking of an evening set up, the weather was just ugly and its suppossed to be windy for the evening. I don't predator hunt much, so I'm still learning. Just wondering if its worth going or not due to the weather. Thanks.
moog5050
High winds are tough for calling. Tough for the yotes to hear. We generally don’t go out if the wind is 15 plus
loworange88
Thanks Moog....I'll keep an eye on the weather up until an hour or so before I was thinking of heading out...if its still windy, I'll throw in the towel.

loworange88
I went out for about an hour and a half. Two setups and a lot of walking. Nothing. First time out at all this Fall, so that was worth it.
Shoots100
Like us, predators want to stay dry and have every condition in their favor, unless their starving. I've never had good luck hunting in crappy weather, but have had great success after the crappy weather had passed and calmed down. Coyote are very wind conscience and don't like it when they can't get downwind of their prey.
