One of those days in the duck boat !

Went out for a final time duck hunting today, should have stayed home as I could not have hit one unless it was put on a silver platter.

Missed 2 geese, 1 black duck, 1 brant. I wanted to throw my gun in the bay !

One cool thing happened though , my brother shot a brant w/ both legs banded, both bands were placed in Maryland.

I've been watching this corn field on the way to town. A bunch of guys built this elaborate blind out there and spent a whole bunch of days sitting in the blind when the geese were not cooperating. Today I drove by, and nobody was hunting, and the whole field was covered with geese .... lol. Is the season over or something?

We were out yesterday in Point Lookout. The brant were flying, just not cooperating. We got one brant and one black. Kind of a lame way to end the season. Last weekend, we had a great day in the snow/ice.
