Made it through the season

not only does Lake George have monster fish swimmin around in it.......getta a load of this guy........1 mile out in the middle and in about 200ft of water.....this pic was taken in late October of 2011.......I'm guessin he had enough of rifle season in Warren County cause he was on his way to Essex's.......

That's a big boy on the cam ! As for the swimmer... if he made it across the lake, I'm guessing he made it through the season. Maybe somebody should use a life guard tower as a stand next year.... I'm sure after a long swim he will give u plenty of time to get a nice shot, u just better hope he doesn't try and swim back once he's got an arrow in him ! I never tracked a deer through a lake sounds like a challenge though

yeah.....good one with the life guard chair......can u imagine watching that thing come in.....that picture was taken by a couple of local guys who were out after the salmon that are usually caught just behind Dome Island on LG at that time of the yr.......the pic was the front page of a bi-weekly newspaper called the chronicle...here in the area..

I cut it out to show some freinds and could simply just " not throw it away "..........therefore I scanned it....when someone started this thread.....about making it.........I immediately thought about this buck....hoped u all would get a giggle...........
