That was great.   I remember as a kid listening to my older brother and his friend singing that song. My friend and I would be outside under his window laughing.  Used to piss him off, lol

Don McClean is from Cold Spring , NY.   He played a concert in my high school in the late 70’s. Had his autograph but lost it somewhere.
