Ordered a reflex sight.

Getting older, and the fiber optic sights are nice, but it was time to upgrade. 

Ordered a saddle mount for my 1187, and a Burris fastfire2.   Should have em next week. Looking forward to trying them out.

I just ordered a Truglo Gobble Stopper for my Benelli SBE2 last night. I have a hard time with the fiber  optic site also and am hoping that the red dot will be a nice improvement.

I thought about a red dot, but I like that the reflex sights are parallax free. Not sure if some red dots are.

I just hope I remember to turn it off, lol.  Couldn't justify a Trijicon. Though about a low power scope, but a good quality scope isn't cheap either.

I think you will love the FF, very similar too the Vortex Venom. I bought the Venom because it is what was in stock last spring.

I've got $150 in cabelas gift cards.  I looked thus morning, and not I single sight I was interested in was in stock.  Ordered everything from Optics planet.

So I get an update on my order from Optics planet today saying one item I ordered has shipped.  The mount shipped,  but the Fastfire 2 is expected to ship 7-15-21.  Kinda odd since it was in stock when I placed the order.  

Canceled the FF2, and found a FF3 for $30 more on Midway USA.

I have the Nikon Spur with a 3 moa dot on my smith and wesson 617 .22lr. Takes some getting used to finding the dot but on a long gun it’s probably easier. Its quick to get on target and accurate with the smaller dot. What moa is the burris?
