Antler Ice
Hello, I am fairly new to the site, and just wanted to introduce our business. We feel that we have taken the deer urine market to another level... urine is very sterile when it leaves the body, but after just a few hours, can start to break down. Bacteria will start reproducing, and forming that oh so famous smell of ammonia. When we collect the urine, we have it bottled, and frozen within hours! This has stopped the urine from "rotting". After years of experimenting with many different scents, we have found, it has the best results! Our product is 100% pure, fresh, frozen whitetail deer urine. It is used not only as an attractant, but an AMAZING cover scent! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and am looking forward to talking to other NY hunters!! Please visit our website at www.AntlerIce.com or our facebook page at www.facebook.com/antlericeattractants Thank you! Love to see pictures and stories of local deer!!
carloracer1987
I like the concept but wouldnt it get watered down since when you unfreeze it the water forms inside the bottle. Can you enlighten me a little here ?

Antler Ice
carloracer1987, once the bottle is frozen, and capped, we have not seen condensation inside the bottle. But if there was, the water would come from the urine, once melted it would just go back where it came from. But great question, we thought the same thing would happen when we started working with the frozen urine...
Antler Ice
wztirem I am sorry to offend you. I have a regular suit and tie job during the day, and have been trying to pursue my dream in the hunting industry for years. I am just starting to get into hunting networking sites, and I can see your point. I am by no means trying to peddle my product. I of course am trying to get the name of my business out, and looking for support from other local hunters. Again, I see your point, and I have been looking into sponsoring the site as well. Thanks for the comment.

Four Season Whitetail's
How do you get your doe in estrus lure? Do you bring your does in and then sell fresh.FRESH. Without freezeing.

sweet old bill
as a archery pro shop owner, I use to buy direct from a deer farm. One of the things I did learn was he would ship me direct in 1/2 gal bottle, I would package in 2 or 4 oz bottles and keep in the old ice box in the shop till a customer would buy. It does start to break down and you should not put on the dash of truck or car. In one hour time it becomes just ammonia.

fasteddie
My bad. They do not offer doe in heat!!! Just urine i guess!! I saw Doe in Heat on the Product Site
Antler Ice
Yes, we do offer Doe-n-Heat...Sweet old Bill, you are very right. The longer the urine is unfrozen the more bacteria reproduces, and the stronger the smell of ammonia will be. We recomend using within 3 days after thawing, but you can refreeze during that 3 day period...
Antler Ice
Once again, I want to appologize to everybody for the original comment, I am just looking for support from fellow NY hunters on my new product...I believe in what we are doing, and have seen the results. Four Season Whitetail's
What time of year do you collect the doe in heat? What is your process of collecting estrus lure!!
Antler Ice
We collect the Doe-n-Heat during the fall (usually October-November). We do not control the does going into heat by giving them anything unnatural (such as shots) The does come into heat naturally. When the does come into the building to eat and drink, they are kept in the building for a few hours per day, in order to keep the daylight hours a few hours shorter for them. When they urinate, it is drained into a collection run. It is immediatly taken, bottled, and placed into the freezer. No preservatives, just a high sense of urgency to get it frozen! Four Season Whitetail's
Not to knock your product as its good that ny allows us to raise deer for these reasons. My question would be how could you sell doe in heat(estrus) if you dont know they are infact in heat(estrus) I mean if you have say 5 does in the building and infact only one of them is in and they make 1 gallon of urine and you freeze it it really would just be urine because the 4 not in heat would overpower the one that was in!! Antler Ice
Understand completly. The does are seperated as they come into heat. The cycle does not last very long, so they are rotated as they cycle. I am not a professional on detemining each does status, but we do have one on the premisis, as a constant monitor to ensuer we are getting only urine from does in heat (estrus). Same goes for collecting the regular doe urine and buck urine. Thanks Four Seasons!!
MountainHunter
I wish you good luck! Personally I have stopped using lures after spending many hundreds of dollars over the years. I personally have never had a mature buck come in to a lure and I have been incredibly meticulous about my use of the lure and it's presentation. tughillhunter
you dont use seeders to enhance the heat? or make them go into heat rather?
