LET EM GROW
Sorry to hear of this sir. Wish you the best with the shoulder, and dont push it to the extreme, bowhunting can wait, life cant. I would check out the no cam by Mathews. Zero cams, Just wheels. The rollover on the cams may be doing the worst for your shoulder. OR look into a single cam system. They dont pull as hard. Or as mentioned check into a setup geared more for youth.. Best of luck
dbHunterNY
you can kill a whitetail with a 40-45lb modern compound at normal hunting ranges around 20 yards. they're crazy efficient with cam designs compared to recurves that people are using at the same draw weight. just need a little more weight to the arrow. go easy on the shoulder so you stay out there hunting. bows often tune the best with limbs screwed all the way in set at max poundage but a 40-50 lb bow shouldn't steer you wrong. any modern bow in the 330's vs 350+ for IBO fps speed will be nice drawing. more and more I end up buying left over demo bows from dealers on ebay. if you know anyone with bow knowledge have them help you look at used ones.
Sir-diealot
I have had 3 rotator cuff surgeries and picked up a 45# PSE Stinger Extreme last year that shoots great. Under 500 bucks too. I saved even more at the time of purchase by using some old gear instead of buying all the stuff in the kit.
