Water Rat
That might have been a rosetta bobcat that sold for $1200.00 Must have been gorgeous.
Water Rat
This is the prettiest looking bobcat that I ever caught on a trail camera or in a trap. Never saw him again. His face markings look pretty cool.
rachunter
I'm going to give it another try this year, but with those prices i'll just keep the fur for myself.I was supposed to pick up some beavers trapping supplies this year, but never got around to it.I think i'm going to hold off on that and see how things pan out. A guy could make a small fortune with squirrels here on long island between nuisance trapping and selling the fur.

Culvercreek hunt club
Might use this year to actually make a run at some rats at a $5 average.

I think they will average higher than that this winter…. at least I hope so. Years ago I was averaging $11.00 for a rat. One of these days I’m going to get a bucket of 110’s and set up the marshes along the Hudson River. There use to be a lot of black rats in those marshes back in the day. I’d like to mount a black one to complete the Grand Slam of muskrats. LOL.
