WNYBuckHunter
Nice! Id like to do something like that one of these years. My kids would get a real kick out of it!
cynthiafu
it is alot of fun . and quail are so small you can keep them inside . they dont need a big bird cage . just a small shallow box
WNYBuckHunter
Do you have to hatch them in the spring or can you do it a bit later? After they hatch, Id rather keep them in the garage.
cynthiafu
you have to keep them warm but not over 110 . it is easy i just got done building the brooder . not harder will put up a picture soon

Woodcock
Use a heat lamp over the brooder... they go as close as they need to stay warm..... keep the sides high enough so they can't get out.... you'd be surprised how active they can get. I raised Bobwhite quail years ago and released them.... lots of fun!!
