What kind of berry / fruit is this ?

Anyone know what kind of berry / fruit this is ? More importantly , do deer like them ? Thanks

Looks like a thorn apple. Not sure if that's the proper name or not. Did it come from a tree that looked quite similar to an apple tree?.

I think they are a lot like apples they all seem to get eaten around here, but they will devour them off some trees and ignore the rest until the "good" ones are gone.

Looks like a crab apple deer will eat them we have 3 or 4 trees outback of my house that grow them .

No , they often average grape size and smaller .

Not sure but I bet the person holding the fruit can be trapped with Cheetos or Doritos.
