wolc123
Are you guys saving the castors ? I heard that they are worth $ 40 but the hides are only fetching $ 4 this year.

wolc123
If it is the same deal as raccoons, then you don’t need to bury them after the regular trapping season is open. Vermin and birds will usually make short work of them, if you just toss them out in an open field. It doesn’t seem to matter how deep I burry the coons, the coyotes usually dig them up within a few days. Pre trapping season carcass burning is another legal option that I have yet to try. With all the fat on a coon, I would think they would burn quite easily and complete.
