I would agree about Albany. I was grilled extensively when I appled 5 years ago and am in Law Enforcement with no history.

It’s easy you go to the gun shop buy it, run down to the county office building and put it on your permit .

Pinned mag , no arm brace at this, point till they sort that out ,just the  buffer tube, still needs red dot .

Thats a 9mm , which is silly to me either buy a Glock with no,pinned mags and 15 round ones sold two hours away …., or build your AR pistol in .223 and up .

Why did you even apply for a permit??  I didn’t think law enforcement needed a permit??

I’m not saying it isn’t good. I just didn’t think law enforcement, active or retired needed them??  I worked for a retired Sheriff in my county. He carries where ever he goes. No matter what state. I thought that was implemented after 9/11??  I could be wrong but thought a law was enacted to allow that for law enforcement, active or retired. And THANK YOU for all you do. You guys and gals don’t get enough credit for all you do!!!!

Yea I wasn’t attacking I was curious.. I hate the whole pinned mag thing. I wonder if you could put a AR mag lock or juggernaut tactical on there

Thank You I pretty much copied what you wrote and got my restriction amendment letter today.
