Bear picture Avoca N.Y.

Was at the cabin last week and took a ride over to Avoca. It was 3 in the afternoon and this big guy is crossing a field headed behind this house. Looks to be a lone male, thought he was pretty big also. The kids and my folks got a kick out of it. We are seeing more bears in our area than ever before. Just a matter of time before I get one.

I looked at that pic again, its not a big bear.. Its a HUGE bear, I'd prob have to change the pants if I saw that in the woods.

Thought he was big, not a care in the world, he owns the place. On my property we have a sow in the area that has 4 cubs and a real big male estimated at about 4-450lbs. I'm not kidding about the male. I have a power line pole that gets torn up by the bears. here is a picture, notice how high up the scratches are.

that is one tall thick boar, he looks like he can really haul ass and he is sure not lumbering. he looks like he is on a misson.. what till he fills out

I don't know how far behind that wheelbarrow he is, but he sure looks big and healthy!  And a sow with four healthy cubs is pretty unusual.  I'd love to see a pic of that!

About 4 years ago we had a sow with 4 cubs and 1 was blond. At gun season she only had two left. They hung around my brothers stand for a while and I walked over and saw the three of them entering my corn field. I was way too cool.

It's a sight to see when they have three or four cubs, the little ones just play around!

That is is great bear! he'll look much bigger when he gets his winter coat!! That pole is crazy!!

yeah hes pretty young now seeing how his ears are still big and he doesnt have a saggy belly just wait for a year or two he will deff be bad ass!!!

It almost looks like the bear pic was photoshopped into the scene. The legs and paws just don't look right. If it is a real  pic, that bear is HUGE!

It's the real deal, although I've been retouching for a good part of 25 years I see what your saying. I have the video also just have to downsize it and post, maybe this weekend.

I have seen & shot many bears in my life, considering the bear is a few yards behind the wheelbarrow that bear is awesome. I don't think I have a gun big enough for that bruin. Looking forward to seeing the video.

Well my Mom did the original and she was all over the place with the new camera. I copied the video to my Ipod and then posted it.

I remember that big foot film when the beast looks back at the camera, funny!
