That system came out of Canada and crossed Lake Ontario. The sky looked threatening, here at 2:30. It was still 80 degrees out, which fueled it. Though someone was getting a pretty good storm. We missed it by about 20 miles to our northeast. I read where possible tornado in it. We had the high wind gusts from the outflow boundaries here in Niagara.

Pretty good blow went through this part of the state this morning, about as much lightning as I have ever seen, Power has been out since 4Am. The upstate map still shows a slew of outages so it will probably be a while before power is restored, the old generator is earning her keep. Al

We’ve got a Coleman extreme cooler that holds ice for several days, even when it’s quite warm out. Only trouble is, the volume is rather limited due to the wall thickness. We used to keep the milk, and other critical items in that, when we went camping.
