  1. Haven't you been reading his posts? From the looks of things in his town, a pickup will do just fine. I don't think they ever saw a BMW. That's something cityslickers drive. And don't forget, the bed of the pickup is the perfect place to do you know what if he gets lucky with one of those chicks. He just rolls open a tarp, kicks away the beer cans and they can go at it to their hearts delight. Hee Haw! LOL

  5. Some of the statistics the DEC uses are confusing . There was an accident where a gun went off inside a vehicle while being unloaded striking another individual but wasn't considered a hunting accident . I believe one that was discussed on here was when a young man shot a deer . He and a friend were dragging the deer . The guy leaned his shotgun against a stump . The gun slid off killing the guy . It wasn't listed as a hunting accident because they weren't actually hunting at the time . What about guys falling from treestands and dying . Hunting accident ? Probably not per the DEC . You can prove almost anything with statistics , if you use the right numbers !

  6. He should probably go to the next town over to steal one. Vehicles in his town all have bullet holes thru them. And by the way Biz-R-O, only Geno is allowed to use "bro" on this forum. LOL

  9. I tell you, kid, if everything you tell us is true, then you must live in the most Godforsaken corner of New York state. Honestly. I didn't think such a wild place with as many barefoot, toothless, shotgun toting, poaching hillbillies existed in a northern state like New York. Jesus bloody Christ, how could so many crazy events happen to someone so young? You might want to have them mushrooms analyzed, actually.

  12. I think the reasons for the decline in hunting accidents might be a bit more involved than simply the hunter safety program. While that has for sure had a huge impact, I am curious about what role the seemingly decreasing hunter participation has had. I'm not talking about the slightly diminishing number of licensed hunters, but rather the actual numbers of hours logged by hunters today. Perhaps it's just a regional thing, but over the decades, I have noticed a huge change in hunter activity. While even opening day seems to be a lot more quiet than years gone by, an even more stark change has occurred and is getting more and more obvious with the way the woods almost goes dead in the bulk of the season after the season opens. I see a lot more "part-time" hunters that only hunt half days, and hunters that show up only on opening day. If my observations and conclusions are anywhere near correct, perhaps we have a case of much fewer man-hours of hunting going on which limits the opportunities for hunting mis-haps. Could that be a major contributer to the great news contained in these stats?

  13. Hey, maybe you can upload the pic of the buck you want and fire it so it searches for the buck and kills only it, then it can send you a text message with GPS coordinates of the dead deer!
