I have had arrows snap very easily when inspecting them, didn't see any cracks or splinters but a little bend did it... I guess if the crack starts inside and a bend doesn't do it but the next shot will... anyway, the glove felt good and will be great on cold bow season mornings, the kevlar protection for only $30.00 was an easy decision.

Like Lawdwaz, I like to run 'n gun. I hunt a lot on State land, and I plan my gun 'n run routes to be well away from commonly hunted roads and trails. And, yes, I occasionally gobble; it has worked several times in the past. Another "trick" I use is to backtrack along a run 'n gun route; I often pick up silent birds that I failed to connect with on my original trip through. Hunt the way you want, fellas.....Just be safe & have fun!

well I certainly apologize that my strategy does not meet your definition of hunting. However it does meet mine, and I have been seeing birds regularly. And I guess my definition is the only one that matters to me. The "fun" in it is being out there enjoying nature and my time there with just me and my thoughts. Killing a bird is the secondary part of a true hunt.

That's a plan Bubba...I just got in we had a hell of a storm last night...sure many of you got that one WOW...I actually thought the birds might be vocal like on opening morning after that storm...not one single peep...I did manage to call in several single hens over the course of 4hrs and one red fox ...not a peep out of them either...also had two buck come in this a.m....would have been in gun not bow range And because of being late forgot the cam...but 3yrs and found out I have video on my phone!!...I'm such a Techy...lol...so got video of one hen....hhmm now how to get it out of phone to PC ....GOOD LUCK
