I believe Culver summed it up well. I don't understand why hunters are on a hunting forum and are actually in favor of restriction on hunting implements (assault rifles or not). I want a good reason as to why. Seriously did something happen that influences that belief? It seems to me that all the pro gun forum members are willing to back up what they beleive with facts and experiences. That's relieving to hear. I thought it was just me. My brother went there. He was all defensive of Obama and anti-Bush during the election. Now he is anti government because he can't figure out who to blame. Go figure. It seems like they preach entitlement and exploit political inexperience to influence these students. Many seem to feel they are entitled to a 6 figure salary and a corner office just because they went to college. Little do they know, the work hasn't even started yet. Some have what I call the " I have it all figured out, but I don't know s--t" attitude. Achievement without accomplishment...It's not right to pump bs opinions into people paying for education.

I have no problem when someone dislikes or disagrees with another's beliefs, but when someone wants to impose their beliefs and force them via laws on another individual that is minding their own business, that I have a problem with. So why don't you anti gun guys come out with it? Why are you sticking up for other people/groups/creeds, yet you are apparently not part of the group you are defending? Why are you afraid of other citizens owning guns, yet calling other forum members "paranoid"? What traumatic event happened in your life involving assault weapons that drives you to want them banned and/or regulated more? And what's with the kool-aid in the SUNY schools, Albany especially?

It’s a question Ministry of Natural Resources staff are often asked. After all, the last known cougar in the province was shot way back in 1884. There’s never been a definitive photo taken of a cougar in Ontario. How do you prove cougars live in Ontario? For the last five years, ministry researchers have been looking for evidence. With the public’s help, they have documented cougar tracks. They’ve found scat (feces) which has tested positive for cougar DNA. And they’ve seen evidence of cougars in the distinctive way other animals are killed. “In those five years, we’ve only collected about 30 pieces of evidence from the far northwest of the province to the south,” says ministry senior research scientist Rick Rosatte. “So while we know there are cougars in the province, we also know they are extremely rare.” Ministry researchers are still trying to get that elusive photograph of a cougar. Rosatte interviews people who think they've spotted a cougar. Almost all sightings turn out to be bobcats, fisher, deer, coyotes, lynx – even house cats. But if the sighting sounds likely, he sets up a camera that is triggered by motion and heat. What have the cameras captured? So far, no cougars.
