Where I am deer can come from 360 degrees so there is always a direction that I can get busted. I wake up have coffee and take a shower w scent free soap. Keep all my clothes in a scent tote with dirt wafers in it after washing them in fresh earth scent detergent. I get dressed at home then I spray dirt cover scent all over before walking into woods. I rarely get winded. I am usually busted for movement or noise when it happens. It also helps that Long Island deer are very used to the way people smell, not like big upstate woods where they never encounter many people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

How would you hunt this section of land
squirrelwhisperer replied to phantom's topic in Deer Hunting
I’d try to hunt it during gun season right after a fresh snow. Find tracks and follow them. Walk slow and silent. 5-10 steps and stop and look. Ask buck master for some tips with this. Scout it while you hunt it. Get HuntStand. Make notes, take pics, drop pins on a map. Go there as much as possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Boots are normal size. I remove the existing insoles and insert the heated ones. Boots are just cabelas 1200 gram thinsulate. Forget the model. I’m sure they are discontinued by now tho. The insoles are the red thermacell ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
